A parent's guide to Zovely

Everything you want to know before you enroll.

Simple, non-technical answers to what your child will learn, how classes run, and how you'll see their progress.

Why Coding + AI?

Technology touches every subject and career today. Zovely builds a structured path from first instructions to real AI applications, so your child grows with the technology rather than being left behind by it.

What children actually learn

Computational thinking, block coding, web development, JavaScript, Python, data, AI, machine learning, generative AI and responsible AI use — introduced gradually, matched to age and ability.

How classes work

Two live sessions a week, following the class loop: Recall → Learn → Build → Challenge → Show. Younger learners get more guided creation; older learners get more independent build and debugging time.

Projects

Every stage ends in a real, working project — a story, game, website, app, AI prototype or capstone — that your child can explain and show off.

Progress tracking

A skill rubric and teacher note every 4 weeks, a mid-course mini showcase, and an end-of-course capstone with a clear recommendation for what's next.

Teacher quality

Instructors are trained on standard lesson plans, observed, and evaluated with rubrics — so every class meets the same bar.

Responsible AI

Students learn to verify AI outputs, respect privacy and copyright, recognize bias, and use AI tools safely and age-appropriately.

1:1 vs group learning

Small-group classes build collaboration and peer learning; 1:1 classes offer personalized pace and scheduling. Both follow the same curriculum and rubric.

Parent FAQs

Quick answers

Is coding suitable for a total beginner?+

Yes. Code Explorers (KG–Grade 1) assumes no prior experience and starts with unplugged, screen-light activities before ScratchJr.

How do I know which stage is right for my child?+

Use the learning-path finder on our homepage, or book a free demo — we place students by a short diagnostic, not just their grade.

Is AI taught safely?+

Yes. Every AI-related stage includes a responsible-AI module covering privacy, bias, verification and safe, age-appropriate use.
